I don’t know about you, but I typically let a new year slide in pretty quietly. My wife and I might go outside and pop a confetti blaster, but often we just pull ourselves off the couch and head to bed. This year was much the same, except it was a bit
Back in September, I had a kidney surgery (all went pretty well) and by November was feeling really well. I was looking forward to getting ready for the one show I had not had to cancel. My wife was making plans for a show as part of her newest venture making homemade soaps. On November 12th, we woke up to a lovely morning, went out for breakfast, visited a local Farmer’s Market, and were home by 11. A few minutes later, I went out to get the mail delivery from our mailbox and was hit by a car. I don’t remember the event itself, thank goodness. All plans went on hold, and for the past two
I have a big spring lineup firming up and will post the dates here as soon as available. My wife will be able to return to getting my prints online. We are incredibly grateful to God for his many mercies over the last four months. We are grateful for the friends and family that he surrounded us with who kept both our spirits lifted. It has been a very difficult time, but could have been so much worse. I’m very glad to be alive and I look forward to seeing you all at shows this spring.
Life is unpredictable – hug your family and friends every day!
Hi CJ…
so happy to hear you are mending and recovering from being hit by a car! That is an awful thing to happen. Ben, Ken and I are sending good, healing vibes your way. I am inquiring about any possible originals you may be selling? A special person’s birthday is soon and would love to give him an original CJ Bradford. He talks about you frequently. Since I noticed you won’t be in OKC this year, thought I would get a head start on any available originals. If not, prints will have to do I suppose.
Going to miss you at the Fest of the Arts. NOT happy with the new location at all. Sigh..love to you and your family. Suzanne and Ken Morris Ben Blevins….ps hope Ben doesn’t see this…
Hey – I am so sorry. Really slow getting back into gear with the online things! I’ll be at the OKC Festival and hopefully we can catch up then! I’m doing a lot better. First two shows of the year have been a little slow on sales, but hoping things will pick up as the year rolls along! Thanks so much for the good wishes!
Suzanne – thanks so much for your kind comments. My wife is retiring from her corporate job this week (well, retiring but going right back to part-time work 🙂 . Until then, I’m obviously having difficulty keeping up with comments, etc. Thank you so much for your continuing support and encouragement! It was so great to catch up with you this year!
our New Year’s eve sounds the same as yours…might last until midnight. Hope this year is better for everybody!!! Hugs CJ…

Sorry to be so slow on replies! It was unbelievably freakish! But doing much better now. I am actually on Facebook. My wife handles our pages most of the time but you can reach me there and she will let me know if I haven’t visited lately. I’ll look you up there and friend you. Take care and thanks again for the well wishes!
