Wow – I am so very glad to have winter 2023 in my rear view mirror! In early December, I was trimming trees in our front yard and took a dive off a ladder, ending up in the ER. I won’t go into the details, but it wasn’t fun and put a complete end to doing anything for a couple of months. All of 2023 was pretty rough – but that last quarter was just a real bear. My wife was a real trooper after already getting me through the heart surgery and she didn’t chew me out TOO much for being up on that ladder. But it was a shocking way to close out the year.

But I am back on my feet now, we have cleared off the ton of leaves that gathered up while I was down, and I have the garden plantings underway. We have already harvested salad greens several times!

Needless to say, all my spring shows were cancelled and I am planning to do just one show in the fall (if I am admitted). We are now putting the website updates front and center for my art business and hope to get more updated available work posted soon.
